When reserving tickets, complete the purchase as you would on any e-commerce site. You must click the cart icon in the top right-hand corner and check out to complete the reservation. You will then receive an email receipt with an address.
Join us for our public open house on Saturday, October 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.! Tickets are $5 per car and are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to limited parking, tickets are valid for only the time selected.
Tour the progress made on Union Traction interurban no. 429 - both inside and out; help us celebrate its 100th birthday! This year will feature live demonstrations of the car moving on a short test track, which it did in 2023 for the first time in 83 years! Obtain a first-hand look at recent grant-funded projects, including beautiful ceiling restoration and revived 100-year-old mahogany trim! We will also be celebrating a recently awarded grant of $100,000 to nearly complete the restoration by next fall!
Union Traction interurban no. 437, Indianapolis Railways streetcar no. 153, Citizens Street Railway mule car no. 69, and Singer electric locomotive no. 1 will also be available for exterior viewing.
HHTC merch will also be available for purchase.

$5 per carload, paid in advance via the reservation button above or below. You are welcome to bring as many guests as will fit in your car.
Planning your visit | Important Notes
A signed liability waiver will be required and available upon arrival—a waiver is required for every member of your party.
A ticket is good for one carload of guests, no matter how many are in the car. Please carpool so that as many people as possible can attend.
Please wear closed-toe shoes and long pants, as this is a working shop environment amid an industrial project.
Guests must remain in a secure location during live interurban demonstrations. Guests may only view the car’s movement from the safe exterior viewing area.
Children under the age of 12 are discouraged and should be watched closely.
For the safety of the collection, please keep the restoration facility address confidential and exercise respect and caution when touring the facility.
Parking is available in a gravel lot in front of the facility. Space is limited.
Limited restroom facilities are available. Please be sure to use the restroom before your visit.
Accessing restricted areas is prohibited.
